The host is superb, and the place is clean and comfortable. It's a funky spot in a great location, especially if you're visiting the university. I can really recommend Upstairs 9000. Some people mention the bathroom and shower being on another floor, but they’re only for guests, so it wasn't a problem.

The coffee, creamer, sugar and Nescafé were so old they were undrinkable, as if they’d been sitting there for months. The bathroom and shower are also far from the room: you have to go down three floors and then climb back up three to reach your bed. That’s especially tough if you wake in the night to use the bathroom. This should definitely be made clear in the description before people book.

A nice place in a great location, though the toilet and shower are on separate floors.

Staying right on St. Peter's Square put us in the heart of Ghent, with everything we wanted to see or do an easy walk away. I was there with my daughter and we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Absolutely recommended!
