The room and bathroom were large, and checking in by yourself was easy. It's a good affordable hotel for a short stay. Breakfast was a little odd: I was the only guest there, and they didn't start setting out the buffet until I arrived. Still, there was plenty to choose from and more than enough to eat.

The room was tiny and had a strange smell, and the hotel feels dark inside with its black walls. The €13 breakfast buffet I'd expected wasn't there, just empty coolers. At my assigned table sat a plate of ham and cheese that looked old and dried out. The bread was rock hard, and I only got one piece. The place feels about 70% overpriced, and breakfast put me off. I won't stay again.

We arrived at the scheduled time, but nobody was at reception. After waiting for the owner, we found out the reservation hadn't been made, even though we'd called and the owner had confirmed it by phone. Instead of fixing the situation, he blamed his poor organization on us. Awful service. You could be left scrambling to find another hotel at the last minute!

The hotel arranged a taxi that never came, and I nearly missed my flight. The beds were patched together with duct tape. Spend a bit more and stay in Liège.
