The staff were friendly and professional, and the areas and room were clean and well cared for. The lift was quiet. Our room was comfortable and well appointed, and breakfast was delicious with plenty to eat. This lovely hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Ypres. My husband has stayed here twice now, and we'll certainly come back in the future.

We’ve stayed here twice before, and came back again. This time it worked well as a stop on our way to and from Germany. The hotel is right in the town centre, between the Menin Gate and the main square, and would also make a good base for seeing Flanders. Friendly, helpful staff, a great breakfast, big beds, and parking on site.

We booked at the last minute during our motorcycle tour across Europe, and were met with a fantastic welcome. The setting and location are beautiful, and the hotel itself was excellent throughout. Lovely decor, a very good breakfast, and secure parking. We’d definitely return after such a first-class stay.

The shower was very good and the bathroom, like the rest of the room, was spotlessly clean. The shower tray was quite high, though, so anyone with leg problems should ask about a room with a walk-in shower. We also slept well in a quiet room. Anna was helpful at breakfast and kept the hot food coming, and the breakfast itself was high quality. It’s a family-run place just off Ypres’ main square, with a warm welcome at reception and the bonus of its own parking. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Ypres. You won’t be disappointed.

The staff really cared about making my stay comfortable and easy, and I felt they went out of their way to help. They all spoke English, which I appreciated, and clearly take pride in the hotel. I had a great stay at the Albion Hotel in Ypres. Everyone was warm and welcoming. I’d recommend it and would stay again.
