You can only visit the house, but it's well worth going in. Entry costs 10 Leva, or 15 leva per family. There are descriptions in English, French, German, Spanish and Romanian, and a local guide is available. It's a great way to see how people lived in the XVIII-XIX century.

I enjoyed this place more than the other traditional mansions in Arbanassi, which felt more rustic, with wooden benches, domestic animals, and fake waterfalls. This is a stylish old mansion that's been nicely restored, with a lovely terrace where you can stop for coffee. There's centuries of history and architectural detail to take in, and the info board by the entrance says it belonged at one point to Constantin Brancoveanu ruler of Wallachia. The coffee was nice and the waiters were polite, though service moved a little slowly. They only take cash. 10 Aug 2019.

We came here for a wedding and had a great time. The atmosphere was lovely, and both the food and service were good. We'll remember it fondly and will definitely come back sometime soon.

We waited 15 minutes for a waitress, and when we asked for a menu, they told us they weren't serving guests that day. Don't expect anyone here to notice you.
