Harmony Hills Petkovi Studio apartment

The sauna wasn’t working, and the “gym” had four pieces of equipment, with half of them broken. Still, the staff were real professionals, and the food was good and the drinks great.

The front desk did try to help fix some of the problems, and I appreciate that. Still, we paid extra for the best available one-bedroom apartment on Booking, and it was old and dirty. We spent the first day cleaning. The dishwasher was broken, there was no internet, and the shower door was gone, replaced by dirty curtains that hung about ten inches too low. The 32-inch TV barely worked. Worst of all, the water kept cutting out: you'd be soaped up in the shower waiting for it to come back, apparently after it reached the third floor again. We booked for two weeks and left after three days. This felt like a one-and-a-half-star resort at most.

It's a nice place, but the villas seemed neglected. The furniture and appliances were old, and when we asked reception to replace our broken barbecue, they couldn't. We also needed two extra pillows and were told it was very difficult to get them. How hard can it be for the hotel staff to provide extra pillows or towels?

We had a great time with family and friends, and it's a perfect place for that. My one reservation is the restaurant pricing. For me, it was on a par with Albena Resort, which I also find overpriced for the products and service. Though calling it overpriced may be a bit harsh, since people see these things differently.
