The location is perfect for walking to the city sights, and the rooms are wonderful and very clean. There's a good bar and bistro, plus a lovely rock club and art gallery. They gave us a free upgrade to studio 102, which was great. I'm a guitarist and Fender user, so seeing those Stratocaster-style guitars on the walls made me feel at home right away. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the staff are professional and kind. Maria (red head woman) was a wonderful host, very beautiful, fluent in English, and the kindest, smiliest person I've met at hotels around the world. Hotel owner, keep this lady forever, she's a treasure. The rooms had what we needed, and the staff helped with anything else. A few small annoyances: the pillows were a bit too soft, hot water didn't last long, and the soap dispensers took ages to give you a decent amount. None of that mattered much for the price. We really enjoyed staying here, and if we return to Sofia, this is the only place we'll sleep. Rock on, guys, and Maria. Thank you so much!

Thomas was so attentive and helpful, a real gentleman, and made our stay even better. We found the hotel lovely, with a central Sofia location that's ideal for the sights. The metro is close by, making the trip to and from Sofia airport easy and cheap. Our room was clean, spacious, and lovely, with a large balcony, a very big TV, a safe, and coffee-making facilities. Breakfast offered a great range in the nice restaurant, and there was live music in the bar downstairs. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Sofia.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is competitively priced for somewhere so central. Art Hotel 158 is right in the center of Sofia, with everything within walking distance. Our room felt fresh and cozy, with a comfortable bed, and was completely new, very clean, and beautifully maintained. The bathroom was new and modern too, with everything in excellent condition.

The night receptionist, Kristian, was incredibly friendly and arranged my taxi to the airport. He made sure I was awake at 4 am and ready on time. Check-in took just 45 seconds, and the room was spacious, clean, and really nice. The staff are lovely. This is my new place whenever I come to Sofia, excellent all around.

The hotel is in a great spot, about a five-minute walk from the airport metro stop. It's around 20 minutes on foot to the Palace for the Christmas markets and the main street. We loved our room with the bed up in the loft, though taller people might find that awkward. The place has been beautifully refurbished, as the stair photos show, and was very clean. Breakfast was really nice, and the bar downstairs had great music and bands. Drinks were reasonably priced except for the very expensive cocktails.
