It’s good value, clean, and the room is fairly large, with a comfortable bed and an excellent location. But the open shower leaves water across the bathroom floor and on the carpeting, and the room has a persistent mold smell. The walls and doors don’t block sound, so you hear people talking as if they’re in your room. I’d stay again, though probably not in winter when you can’t open the windows.

For a 2-star place, it has fair rules about luggage and early or late arrival, and the manager is a very nice, politely European-style lady. The location is perfect for the price. The shared shower and bathroom setup seems common in the Bulgarian places I’ve stayed, whether apartments or hotels. You can ask reception for a floor mop and dry things yourself after showering. Room cleanliness depends on the people working that shift. If it’s done badly, report it to the manager. I also met a few very simple people in the hall who didn’t seem to care about furniture or carpets, so keep that in mind.

The place was clean and well maintained, and the location was excellent.

It’s a good deal for the price: the room is clean and nice, with a really big bed, and the bathroom seems to have been renovated fairly recently. The location is super convenient. Breakfast isn’t offered, though, and there’s no separate shower area, so the whole bathroom gets used as the shower. I didn’t like that. Otherwise, it was great.
