I stay here at least twice every year, and I'm always happy with the service. The prices are decent, the classic rooms are comfortable, and its position between Sofia airport and the city center is convenient.

The location was the one good thing, just 15 min from the center. I stayed one night and couldn't bear it. The room reeked of cigarettes, there was a horrible smell from the bathroom, and the floor looked dirty. There weren't any flipflops, and unfortunately everything felt unclean.

We had a clean triple room with a spacious, clean bathroom. The fridge was switched off, and you'll need to bring your own soap and shampoo since they don't provide them. They let us check in early, which was really helpful. Shops and other things are within walking distance too.

The rooms were okay, but the lift stayed out of order for all three days of my stay, and still hadn't been fixed when I left. Breakfast wasn't anything special either: most of it was frozen pastries reheated, and the cheese was cheap vegetable cheese. The hotel is in a strange spot, and even the taxi driver didn't know where it was. I was back in Sofiq for a business trip last week and picked a better hotel because I didn't want to return here.

We couldn't sleep because a wedding was going on that night, with music for most of the evening. The room was large but not clean, and the whole hotel needs a proper clean. The beds hadn't been made, which wasn't a problem in itself, just something I've never come across before. I don't think we'll stay again.
