We paid €1,100 for three nights in an apartment for seven, and the stay was very disappointing. There was no room phone, so whenever we needed anything we had to go down to reception, relying on the only elevator, which didn’t always work or was available. On arrival, only two towels had been provided for seven people. We asked for more twice before they were finally brought up from reception. We left early to ski on the second day and came back to find the room untouched. Staff said guests had to request cleaning and they didn’t have enough people. Staffing is the hotel’s responsibility, not ours. On the third day, cleaners finally came in, but only took the rubbish bags and left towels on the couch. The room still wasn’t properly cleaned. Two or three people did try to help, but the basic amenities, housekeeping, and service overall were poor. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Last year we stayed at Predela Lux aparthotel, and this year we came back. Our room had a view and was clean and warm, which we loved. The hotel staff were top level, the food was delicious, and we were delighted with everything.

For what we paid, this was a good hotel. The facilities were very clean and generally at a high level. The pool was nice and new, with free access to the jacuzzi and sauna. The receptionist and other employees were polite, and we didn’t encounter bad behavior. Breakfast and dinner were simple. The one thing we disliked was how much chlorine was in the pool. By the third or fourth day, we felt sick.

Some of the apartments are nice, others less so, and the guests vary too. Some are quiet families; others are the usual loud, rude, obnoxious British tourists. I’m paying over €800, yet the reception advertised as 24/7 is often staffed only by an unfriendly security guy. He doesn’t speak English, can’t answer questions, and doesn’t know when reception will return.

The location is very good, but the apartment was too hot and the rooms weren’t clean. Breakfast was basic.
