The good parts were the daily cleaning, with amazing cleaning ladies, and the shuttle to and from the gondola. The hotel also has ski rental. Breakfast was really good with plenty of variety, and the restaurant food was tasty. Our room stayed very warm and the hot water was properly hot. We were there for five days in early January, just the two of us, and had booked a studio. The first impression was positive because the lobby looks amazing, but the rooms didn’t match the pictures. The bathroom was extremely small and nowhere near a four-star standard. The lobby bar waiter was rude, rolling his eyes when people at the table didn’t order. The older receptionist was reluctant to help when we had trouble with the slots machine in the game room, and the pool water wasn’t as warm as we expected. Friends of ours, a family with two kids, had booked an apartment.

We had a nice view from our studio, and the staff were friendly and professional. The food was tasty with plenty of choices, and the coffee was good, which is rare for all inclusive. The location isn’t the best, though it’s fine if you have a car, and there were enough parking spaces for everyone. The rooms were clean, but the bath was extremely small and the water supply so weak that a normal shower was almost impossible. There’s no AC. The pool was the most unpleasant part for me: the water felt cold even though the staff said it was 29-30°C. I’d still recommend it.

The setting is quiet and pleasant, with lovely views, and it’s out of Bansko on the way to the mountain. The kids could wander and enjoy being in nature. There’s a spa and a pool that’s 1.30m deep all around, though you do need to be careful in the pool area with children. Breakfast had everything you’d want for a full meal, and the staff were cheerful and helpful. A great place to stay.

At dinner, even water costs extra, which I found unacceptable for this kind of hotel. The housekeeping staff were unfriendly and rude, and the lobby shuts at 10 PM, so guests can’t stay there to watch TV afterward. My experience at Greenlife Hotel was very disappointing. The conditions were poor, and our room looked nothing like the online photos, which felt misleading. I wouldn’t recommend it because of the service and the inaccurate presentation.
