The room felt cozy and warm, and the furniture was fine. Still, several things made the stay less enjoyable. There was dirt in the corners, and the washed sheets and towels had stains, including makeup on the pillowcase. The shower kept swinging between very hot and freezing, so we had to step out and adjust it repeatedly. The toilet also wouldn’t flush properly.

The owners are wonderfully kind, and the food is absolutely delicious. It’s a lovely family guesthouse with warm, well-equipped rooms and great attention to detail. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinner in the “mehana”. I highly recommend this house in Bansko!

The owners are so friendly and ready to help. The place has a traditional feel, and the food is amazing. Breakfast especially took me back to childhood, with granny making pancakes :)

We had a lovely stay. The people were friendly and helpful, and there was a nice mountain view from our room. The gondola is a 20 minute walk away. Breakfast was basic, but fine.

The drying room is cold, so if you want dry shoes for the next day, you have to bring them into your room. It’s basically just a cold storage room. The hotel is very average otherwise. Our room was decent and fairly clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Booking.com says they speak Russian and English, but that isn’t quite true. Only one person could speak those languages, a very nice woman, and she had days off during our first few days, which left us with major communication problems. This is just my personal opinion, but I didn’t like the hotel food at all. We ordered takeaway from local cafes instead, and it was much better.
