Downtown Luxury private apartments

The apartment had everything we needed, and it was close to the gondola lift.

Roman, the owner, was so kind. The apartment was clean and cozy too.

There was no privacy in this ground-floor apartment: it had no view, just walls and the balcony doors of other people in the block. At €970 for six nights, it simply wasn't worth it. I've holidayed in Bansko many times, so I have something to compare it with. The apartment itself was clean and decent, but it had two air conditioners and no radiators. There was no heat in the bathroom, so we had to leave the door open all the time. There was nowhere to dry our towels or soaked clothes, and we ended up drying ourselves with wet towels. The mattress was very hard and the pillows were thin. We found two more pillows in the wardrobe and asked for cases, but they never brought any. The parking lot was 200 metres away and had chains on it, though we later learned the lock was fake. The person in charge told us to ring the security guard whenever we needed to get the car in or out. The bell was at the apartment building entrance, 200 metres from the lot. When we rang, a man came out who we couldn't communicate with. He shouted and seemed indifferent. We called the person in charge, who explained about the fake lock, then got angry that we'd bothered him and told us not to call about things like that again. He hadn't mentioned any of this when we arrived. When we left, he charged us €1 for each coffee capsule without having told us about the charge beforehand. We won't stay there again.
