The villa itself is good, but the customer experience was really poor. The ad says you'll be alone, yet there's a grandma living on the first floor of one of the villas. She was always around, watching and babysitting you, and never stopped talking. The fridge and freezer don't work either. You pay 1000BGN for two days and she's there the whole time.
A warm, welcoming host and comfortable rooms with what you need for a weekend. There are options for couples and families with kids, and the prices are low. The little pool and outdoor barbecue setup were nice too. It’s about a four-minute walk from the center, and Mamin Kolio, just two minutes from guest house Lirik, has a kitchen I’d recommend.
The villa itself is good, but the grandmother being around made us uncomfortable. As Nicholas said, she was always there watching us, and even asked us to switch off the room lights to save electricity. I really think she shouldn’t be there at all.
If zero stars were possible, that’s what I’d give it.
Such a relaxing place, and the hosts are really kind.
