Being away from the center gave the hotel a quiet feel and a lovely mountain view. The pool is large and looks good, with a sauna right beside it that was useful on cold days. But the pool wasn’t heated during our stay, as staff said it was broken, and some tiles were missing. I was there with a large group and we didn’t really run into problems. The room was warm, the floor clean, and the bed fairly comfortable. The amenities were generally good, though breakfast had few choices and small portions. They had to keep topping up the buffet, which took a while.

We arrived at 2pm and waited nearly an hour to check in, with staff citing a power outage, then internet trouble, then a system problem. The room card only worked the first time. After every time I opened the door, I had to go back downstairs to reception to get it working again. The pool was cold, and using it meant paying 5 euros per person for towels. Breakfast wasn’t good either. The hotel is a long way from town, and it sits right at a road chokepoint used by people driving up to ski. Police would regularly block the road to the hotel after 12pm. This was the worst travel experience I’ve had. I’d pick somewhere closer to town.

The rooms were comfortable, and we had a good stay overall. Breakfast was fine but short on choice. I’d mainly booked for the spa, so it was disappointing that the water was cold. Staff said it was already at the highest temperature.

The room was clean, and after skiing the sauna and steam bath were just right. They use eucalyptus oil in the steam bath, which I’d recommend after a day on the slopes. The pool water was too cold. It might be fine for men, but not for women or children, and other guests said the same. Breakfast was identical each day, and the service, food, and pool all need improvement.
