Swimming in the hot mineral water while it snowed was so much fun! We loved the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. The guy at reception was very helpful, and the service was good. Our room was clean and warm, decorated in a well-kept old traditional style. The bathroom had a good shower and a big heated towel rail, and they provided nice bathrobes. Breakfast was tasty and included. Bring flip-flops for the pool, and maybe a hat or earmuffs to keep your ears from getting cold.

We spent three days at beautiful Hotel Mineral 56 in Banja, near the Bansko Ski Center, over New Year's Eve 2020. The apartment was comfortable and convenient, with a lovely view of the Pirin - Rila Mountain. There's a lounge next to the apartment with a sauna, jacuzzi, massage and gym. The thermal mineral water pool was beautiful and warm, and the ski slopes were very close. The hotel was very nice, the staff were kind, and the owner was always ready to help us. Good restaurant, quality rooms and the best value for money. It takes a little getting used to having an open shower in the bathroom, but relaxing in the heated mineral pool is a real treat.

Really good overall. The only thing missing from our room was some useful storage, like hangers for our bulky winter jackets. There wasn't much space for them.
