Spa Hotel Orbita

Being out in the forest, a little way from town, meant amazing nature and fresh air. We had a lovely two-night stay, and the price felt fair for what the hotel offers. It matches its star rating, with good value for money. The rooms were clean and well arranged. We especially enjoyed the spa, with its pools, relaxation room, and several saunas. Warming up in the outdoor sauna before trying the cold plunge was a great experience. Everyone we encountered on staff was kind, helpful, and professional. Breakfast and dinner were satisfying and quite decent.

The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the spa is really nice, particularly the saunas, warm pool, and cozy relaxation area. The food was delicious, made with what seemed to be high-quality local farm products, and presented in a modern way. Service was impeccable. There’s also fun animation for kids. It’s a top hotel for the price, one of the best around, and the level has improved since last year. There’s plenty of free parking, and Kartala ski zone is a 25-30 minute drive away. 10/10. WiFi is weak in some spots. It needs work, especially since mobile internet can’t be used freely when the phone occasionally switches to a Macedonian operator.

The spa left me feeling relaxed and refreshed. It had three kinds of sauna and a steam room, and the place was clean. The staff were professional and polite.

We all came away itching after using the spa water. In the room, the smell was awful, the floors were stained so badly they looked like a crime scene, and the AC couldn’t handle 80F outdoor temperatures. Reviews seem split between people who like the rooms for the money and people with the same problems I had, so staying here feels like a gamble. At similar prices, resorts and Airbnb options nearby are much better. This cost more than the resort we’d stayed at the previous night in Serres, Greece, and felt like a disgusting dump by comparison. Owners, this could be a nice resort, but nobody wants to sleep in mildew or stay in a room that looks like a cheap hourly motel. Do better.
