The quiet, laid-back feel was exactly what we wanted. The rooms were clean, the staff were lovely, and in the off season we seemed to be the only guests at the hotel. It's in a small town, far enough from the bustle to relax but close enough to Burgas for an easy bus ride. Just check the pool dates if swimming matters to you: it only opens seasonally, and it wasn't open when we visited in early June. It was a bit chilly for swimming anyway.

The staff were great, and they can prepare food onsite if you'd rather stay in. We also appreciated the secure parking and great pool. The aircon was fantastic, and the beds gave us the best night's sleep we've had at any other Bulgarian Hotel.

The friendly, positive personnel and our large terrace facing the Black sea were definite pluses. But the room hadn't been cleaned before we arrived: the carpet was badly stained, there was even blood on the bedside table, and the bath towels were stained too. The room smelled like cat piss. They replaced the towels right away and said they'd clean the room. We tidied up to make it easier for the cleaners, but when we came back it was still the same blood-stained, cat-piss-smelling room.

We found a cozy place in a great location, and everyone on staff was so hospitable and kind. Boryana made sure we had everything we needed. We'd love to come back. 😊
