Burgas Beach Resort

The beach is about a five-minute walk and was pretty clean, as was the water. The parking area is enclosed and secure, with a guard there at night. Outside, the place looks modern and attractive, with lots of stonework and greenery that must have cost a fair bit. Our room had a strong smell, perhaps because the apartments aren’t used much at this time of year. The kitchen had the basics and was fairly well equipped. There’s no restaurant on site, and we couldn’t spot one nearby either. Heating comes from an air conditioner that blows straight onto the bed.

The view is lovely, though we couldn’t see it from our apartment. The beach is nearby, but getting there means taking a very steep path that felt fairly dangerous. The pool is nice if you can find a free lounger. The apartment kitchen is poorly equipped. Avoid the poolside restaurant: it’s expensive, and we were served old pink salad. There are much nicer restaurants about a 10-minute walk away.

We had a fantastic two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a pool and sea view. It was beautifully designed and very clean, and the beach and sea are only 100 metres from the resort. The staff were great, helping us book local restaurants and arrange taxis. We’d happily come back again and again, and definitely plan to return.

A lovely, quiet resort away from the chaos, with clean rooms and really helpful receptionists. The rental car prices were great too. The restaurant was closed, though I’m not sure if that was because of COVID or the end of the season. It would be ideal to have a bar in the resort, so guests could get drinks by the pool and sit around in the evenings.
