The food was 10 out of 10, and the owner’s son and receptionist were amazing. It’s very clean and well worth a visit, with fresh forest air and a lovely garden setting in Dragalevtsi village. It’s hard to get to, but a good place to rest. I think they have more of these in Bulgaria. A mother and son getaway, and it felt good to be home. 🏡🇧🇬🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🛌👩‍👦

The garden and outdoor areas are lovely and well maintained, and there are nice walks in the nearby woods. The first-floor rooms are comfortable and very nice. The restaurant is pleasant, though I thought the food was overpriced. I’m not sure why there are mattresses standing in the hallways. The jacuzzi and sauna were both out of order.

The building’s style has a name, “mafia baroque,” and I can’t help wondering how they got the land for it. The so-called SPA is the bigger concern, though. I doubt it’s been cleaned since it was built, and getting into that pool feels like a way to pick up all kinds of STDs. As for the business itself, prices are listed on a pathetic website, but once you arrive they insist on cash because the POS supposedly doesn’t work. No receipts, either. This place is a total waste of time and money. Maybe visit if you’re curious to see the mafia in real life, but places like this shouldn’t exist anywhere in 2025, let alone in a European capital.

We booked the restaurant and eight rooms for two nights to celebrate our daughter’s baptism. I regret choosing this place. The prices felt like Mykonos, even though it’s in the middle of nowhere, and the service was awful. Two men were arrogant, rude, and unpleasant, as if they were paying me instead of the other way around. The rooms were dirty, the bathrooms smelled like public toilets, and I doubt the sheets had been changed. A friend even said hers smelled of somebody else’s perfume. A complete disaster. Avoid it.
