Villa Galina Complex

The host was welcoming, and for the price this was a good stay. Our apartment was roomy, clean, and had a great view of the sea. The pool wasn't open in September, at least while we were there. WiFi barely worked in the rooms, though it was decent in the hall.

The good parts were the hotel-only parking spaces and air conditioning that worked well. Aside from that, things were alright, but we were missing basic supplies like salt, sugar, dish soap, and toilet paper. Those were the main problems for us. WiFi was only available in the hallway on each floor, not in the apartments, and even there the connection was unreliable.

Our holiday was ruined by the hot, dirty apartment. The air conditioners didn't work, even though we'd paid for an apartment with air conditioning, and the glasses and cups were dirty too. The manager was no help and said there was nothing he could do. We paid the full price and stayed only because there was nowhere else available. Before booking, we'd checked the good reviews, but our experience was nothing like them. I think people may be paid to leave those reviews. That's no way to do business, Villa Galina, shame on you! Later, Booking told us we'd been marked as not showing up. We were there, but we definitely won't be back. Even one star feels too generous.

We've stayed at Vila Galina twice now, and it already feels like our own apartment. It's a great summer spot, close to the beach with a supermarket nearby, and the host is friendly.
