At least the sheets were clean, and the air conditioner still worked, though it seemed close to breaking. The room was too small for three people, and the mattresses were hard. The terrace chairs didn’t seem sturdy enough for a heavier person. The tap and cistern barely ran, and they hadn’t left us extra toilet paper. We couldn’t adjust the shower, the water was either cold or hot, and the hose burst. The stairs are steep, raised, and creaky. If you get back late and drunk, you may wake everyone trying to climb them. One bedside lamp barely moves, the other looked ready to fall, and the hallway light didn’t work. I didn’t take photos, unfortunately. From what I saw, they had the same problems five years ago, and I don’t know why none of this has been fixed in all that time.

It’s handy being right by the bus station, with a supermarket and fruit and vegetable shop next door. There’s also a nearby fast food place with tasty food to eat there or take home. The guest house has a lovely yard, and the rooms are clean, pleasant, and equipped with what you need. We enjoyed relaxing outside on the terraces in the evening. The TV wasn’t very good, and the water pressure on the top floor seemed weak, so the shower kept going from very hot to cold and was hard to use normally. It’s far from both beaches in town, but we were happy with our stay overall.
