Onyx Beach Residence

The sea-view apartments have great views, and the restaurant serves really interesting food with very good service. The hotel may be 4*, but the restaurant feels like 5*. Everything was very clean, and the private beach and pools were excellent. It’s a bit expensive, but worth it. Breakfast was the one letdown, it was very poor. The mini fridges in the rooms barely kept anything cold, and it would be nicer if cold drinks were available since the restaurant closes at 11 pm. Still, we had a great stay.

We especially enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the beach, just steps from Hotel Onyx in Sveti Vlas. The rooms were modern, comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. It’s great value for the price, and we’d definitely stay again.

This review is about the area outside the hotel. The beach is perfect, and I brought a drone to capture some beautiful footage. The view is amazing, especially at 5 pm. I recommend parking in the lot to get shots of the hotel, sea and forest.

The beach was a highlight, clean and worth considering for its south-facing slope, which gets sun all day. The pools are lovely too, just right for a quiet day reading with a book. Everything was cleaner and nicer than I expected, even the bathroom window was spotless. Five stars from me, and I’ll definitely come back.
