VM Apartments Robinson Beach

Don’t book these apartments. The restaurant was still decent, but our apartment was in awful shape and smaller than advertised. There was mold, the beds were partly broken, and water kept spilling out of the shower, which only had a curtain. The toilet smelled so bad it was hard to breathe. The balcony barely fit two people. On the top floor, you’d be sweltering in 30° weather because the AC was terrible and at the far end of the apartment, so it didn’t cool the place. We booked two weeks ahead, were asked to change our arrival day, and were still given a horrible apartment despite being promised the best one. The pool bar was abandoned and ghostly, the ground-floor apartments were used to store branches and chairs, and the receptionist didn’t know a word of English. After half a day of struggling, we did get our money back. Still, nobody should make the same mistake. For the same money, you can find apartments that are much better in terms of the apartment, restaurant, location, and beach.
