Guest House KN Malusha

I had to change my plans after booking a room at Guest House KN Malusha, so I cancelled right away. I’d already paid, but nobody refunded me. After I left a bad score on booking com, the woman who runs the guest house called and threatened to complain to the police unless I removed it. Please protect customers.

We liked the terrace and its city view, and the room was nice. The place felt cosy and clean, and it’s close to the centre. Keys are kept in lock boxes, and street parking is available. Room No. 1 could be noisy: it’s on the first floor, and traffic is easy to hear. There’s also what seems to be a shaft by the window that makes a dull metallic clank when cars hit it with their tires. The terrace table is right by the door, so conversations and laughter outside carry into the room. We didn’t mind, and our neighbours were fairly quiet, but light sleepers may want to keep it in mind. I’d recommend staying here.

The bathroom stayed cold and damp, and there was a strong mold smell in the room. It’s a good location, though it faces the street, so probably not for light sleepers. The place is small but fairly comfortable for one night. Disappointing overall.

The bathroom was cold and kept getting wet because the ventilation wasn’t good, and there was a slight mold smell in the room. We stayed in room 1, meant for two. It’s small but still okay, and the house is very near the centre in a fairly quiet spot. Cleanliness was fine. We also felt a small table and two chairs would have been useful.
