Getting to our room was a real hassle. The hostel office is at number 82, but our room was at number 8 on the same boulevard, up a very steep hill with all our luggage. It felt manageable only for younger people. The room itself was good, and the toilet douches were fine. There were no blackout curtains, though, so the room stayed very bright all night.

The rooms were tiny and lacked basic accommodation, and you even had to shower in the shared toilet. I can’t say anything good about this hostel. The one star is already one too many, but the site wouldn’t let me post without it. The opening hours listed on the door didn’t match what was online, and they decided I’d arrived too late and cancelled my whole booking. There was no discussion of a refund. Whenever you ask for something, it’s apparently too much trouble.

The building is old, the rooms are dirty, there’s no Wi-Fi, and the service is bad. The worst hostel ever. Never again. On Booking, it goes by Ivani Guestrooms, apparently to get around the bad ratings here. BE CAREFUL ABOUT THIS.

One toilet shared by 12 people on the floor, staff who weren’t helpful, and a high price. Worst hostel ever.

You’d be hard pressed to find a worse hotel in your whole life.
