The breakfast is a must, it’s always tasty, with homemade Bulgarian food and fresh fruit! The staff are really friendly and nice, probably the best part. There’s also a beautiful outdoor garden, naturally shaded by the vines. The rooms are cozy and spacious, with comfortable beds.

The owners are very welcoming, and the breakfast is superb, cooked fresh to order. We had the tastiest banitsa and would definitely come back. It’s a decent, well-kept house in the old centre of Gabrovo, district 6, with parking and a warm, charming atmosphere. The clean rooms cover the basics, though it isn’t a luxurious place.

It’s convenient for walking and shopping, right in the city centre, and the room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. But it faced the backyard, with some ruined, abandoned houses. There was a cigarette smell that didn’t clear even with the windows open all evening. One window wouldn’t close properly, so we heard the neighbours’ dogs barking all night. The bedside lamp didn’t work, and the cable TV signal was poor, like it came from an antenna.

The host is the nicest person I’ve ever met, and breakfast is wonderful! The rooms are clean and big, and although the house is in the city centre, it’s quiet at night.
