The owners are such lovely people, and the property has two very friendly dogs plus a number of cats. I’d happily stay again if I’m back in the Veliko Tarnovo area. It’s also a peaceful spot in the Bulgarian countryside, with several eco-trails nearby and the old city centre of Veliko Tarnovo only about 15 minutes away. The rooms are stylish, with comfortable beds and a spacious, modern bathroom.

Warren took us around several interesting places, which we really enjoyed. My husband and I have just come home after staying with Silvi and Warren, who were excellent hosts. Each morning, the two well-behaved dogs came out to greet us.

Hotnitsa is a charming village, and this is a fantastic place to stay near lively Veliko Tarnovo. Silvi and Warren were always ready to help us. The accommodation is modern and clean, with a lovely rural feel.

There’s plenty to do nearby, and Hotnisa is well placed for visiting Veliko Tarnovo and its magnificent citadel. The food was authentic, and the setting felt friendly and warm. Silvio and Warren were wonderful hosts. Definitely worth seeing!
