Guest House Central

The host was kind and quick to respond, and the center is close by, with shops and restaurants around. The guest house is clean and well looked after, including the bathroom. My room had all the useful things for a comfortable stay: a wardrobe, fridge, bedside tables and lamps, TV, iron and ironing board, kettle, utensils, and parking. I recommend it!

There’s parking, and the location is right in the city center, which is handy. My room was clean and comfortable, and the hostess was kind.

We were left stranded, which felt completely inhumane. We had called the number provided to check whether we could bring our dog before booking through booking. They said we could, and even advised us not to book through the site because there was some kind of error. They booked the room for us directly and asked us to call 30 minutes before arrival so someone could meet us. We called two hours early, fortunately, and found out they had given our room to other people without telling us. I deeply regret not making the reservation through booking, since then we might have been able to claim our rights. The way this was handled was extremely unprofessional.

The location is the one bright spot. The rooms feel rather unwelcoming, the bathrooms weren't cleaned properly, and there was no soap. On my last visit I found clothespins under the sofa, and they blamed me for them.
