Kings Valley Medical & Spa Hotel

We had lovely views from our immaculate, well-styled room, and the food was a real standout. The buffet was fresh and amazing. The pools were a good temperature, and the jacuzzis were very relaxing, with different temperatures to choose from. The kids’ areas were great for children, and the fitness room was a proper gym with plenty of machines and weights. The coffee at the lobby bar was terrible for the price. Also, considering what a stay costs, I expected complimentary coffee for the machine each day. Shout out to Victoria, she’s the best waitress ever. A pleasant stay.

I visited for the first time in February 2026 and enjoyed everything. The medical and wellness treatments felt unusually professional, with personal consultations and skilled therapists. The spa itself was spotless, spacious, beautifully designed, and kept in luxurious condition, with plenty of pools, saunas, and relaxation areas. The room was roomy and stylish, with a very comfortable bed, excellent sound insulation, and a balcony overlooking the valley. It was an especially nice spot for coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. Staff were warm, attentive, and professional, often seeming to anticipate what we needed. Breakfast and dinner were another highlight. Meals combined local and gourmet flavours, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and lovely presentation. Kings’ Valley Medical & Spa Hotel brings together medical care, spa facilities, and heartfelt service in a way that’s rare. It felt like a sanctuary for body and mind, and I’m already thinking about a return visit. I can recommend it highly.

Kazanlak is only 7 km away, making it easy to spend an afternoon or a full day exploring the Thracian tomb, rose garden, and museum. The hotel also has two bars and a dance club at night. I’d strongly recommend it if you’re after a nice, luxurious spa hotel. The main restaurant, Trakia, served delicious food, with plenty of salads, appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Sofra has more traditional cuisine and presents it beautifully; I enjoyed that too. The rooms are quite spacious, and the spa was clean, with enough saunas and relaxation rooms. I also liked the outdoor hot mineral pool. Since the spa is for guests aged 16 and up, it was quieter. I was delighted with my weekend here.

The family facilities were particularly well thought out. There are lots of families staying here, and the kids’ rooms and reading areas are cozy, fun, and well equipped. Children can play outside in the playground on the grounds. Our child was comfortable in the room, with a crib set up and nice flooring, and there was still lots of space. The spa is impressive and well designed. Families have a great choice of pools for children, and the large massage area is stylish and convenient. The treatments were excellent in both quality and experience. The 16+ spa area was a special treat, with a calm atmosphere, different saunas and steam rooms, and enjoyable scrubs. Maria, the spa operator, was professional, attentive, and organized. Silvia at reception was very professional, friendly, and helpful. Special thanks as well to the doctor for their attentiveness and high level of care. The hotel itself is new, modern, and beautiful, with a very pleasant atmosphere. Rooms are roomy and comfortable, with everything thought out for a relaxing stay, and the large bed made sleeping a real pleasure. Food was excellent and fresh, with plenty of fruit and a good choice of meat and fish. Breakfast was especially good, varied, filling, and high quality.
