Belle View Hotel II

The garden is in better shape than the rooms, which were dirty, with worn sheets and towels, old, battered furniture, and a bathroom that looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since it was built. The price-quality ratio is beyond criticism. The host who greeted us was rude and seemed permanently half-drunk.

The courtyard had a pool, loungers, a shower, flowers, parking, and a gazebo with even a plasma screen. The hotel seems sensibly laid out, but it has plenty of problems. We chose it as one of the cheapest in the area, and because of good reviews. A friendly uncle who wasn't the owner greeted us, but he had a strong smell of fumes that lingered all day. The same smell was in the kitchen and adjoining rooms. Our double room was on the ground floor and nicely renovated, with new towels and bedding. But the pillows were terribly hard, the mattress sagged even though I weigh 48 kg, and there was almost no soundproofing. The bathroom light kept going out, the toilet lid fell onto your back, and shower water ran all over the room. There were artificial flowers on the tables, which would have been better left empty. The kitchen looked impressive at first, with new tiles and furniture and good modern appliances: kettle, coffee maker, stove, oven and microwave. But the dishes were awful. There weren't any cups, just tiny espresso ones, and although there were salt shakers on the tables, the oilcloth was dirty.

I loved it. The host is always ready to help, and the two-bedroom apartment has everything you need, including air conditioning and a private kitchenette. Everything was perfect!

We had a lovely time. It was clean and quiet, with an almost homely feel. Thanks to the hosts!
