We tried several times to make a proper reservation, but were told to call a day or two before check-in to find out whether they could host us. Who runs a hotel like that? We did make a reservation, then the day before check-in I got a call saying they couldn’t accommodate us. When I calmly explained that this wasn’t a proper way to do business and could mislead customers who still see the place listed online, the woman on the phone shouted at me very rudely and hung up, saying, “Oh, there you go....” Don’t be misled, and don’t even consider this place when looking for somewhere in Kyustendil.

This was really unfair. We made a reservation, but when we arrived there were no rooms available, and nobody had told us the booking was canceled. After traveling 500 km, we had to find somewhere else to stay.

The staff are friendly, and for a cheap overnight stop after a long journey, it’s not bad. I’d have complaints about the conditions if the price weren’t so low.
