The pool is fine, and the TV works. The rest was a letdown. There was a sewage smell in the bungalow, and it had no basics at all, not even a glass or spoon. The toilet barely flushed, and the beds were very hard. Everything else was old and visibly worn, with no appliances. The owner kept pushing us to spend money. They also have “guard dogs” nobody seems able to control. They growl and bare their teeth for no clear reason. There’s meant to be a restaurant, but apparently you need to order a day ahead.

After 16 hours of travel, I got there at 1 a.m. and found a dirty room full of mold and bugs, with a horrible smell. I stayed until sunrise, then spent the first day of my holiday looking for somewhere else. Thankfully, there are plenty of nice places in the area at about the same price, and the rest of my holiday was great. I booked this based on the good reviews, but it was the worst place I’ve ever seen. Don’t waste your time here.

My sister and I had booked a stay for the weekend, but we didn’t feel safe enough to remain there. The room’s entrance is a basic plastic door from the terrace by the road. It looked like someone could break in just by leaning on it. The hotel faces a bare brown field that’s been cleared of large debris but hasn’t been turned into a garden, while the back looks over a homemade tennis court. The building itself is old and made with cheap materials, so for the price it fell short of what we expected. It also wasn’t clean. You’ll need a car to get back to the village if you go out, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone hoping to socialize.

We’ve stayed here for the second year with the family, and we’re very happy with it. It’s a calm, welcoming place to unwind, with a manager who’s always available. There’s a pool of its own that gets cleaned every day, and you can walk to the beach in 15 minutes even without a car.
