The unreliable Wi-Fi made this stay at Valentina Castle in 2025 incredibly frustrating. The connection kept dropping, pages would barely load, and video calls weren’t possible. The signal stayed weak in the room, lobby, and Restaurant, which is hard to accept from a hotel presenting itself as modern and comfortable. The building looks charming from outside, but that couldn’t make up for being disconnected so often. If you need internet for work, keeping in touch, or even ordinary browsing, I’d stay somewhere else. In 2025, this kind of internet service feels like going back to the early 2000s.

We always have a great time here, whether we bring the kids or come on our own. It’s one of my favourite places in Bulgaria ☀️ There’s lots to do nearby, from the spa and pools to walks around Leshten and Kovachevitsa. The setting in nature is lovely, the restaurant feels cozy, and the rooms are really comfortable.

The food at the restaurant was the highlight, really delicious. The rooms also have a nice view, and the service was kind and quite nice. The pool and kids’ pools were good too. The interior and furniture could use some attention, as they look a little shabby and faded.
