The final straw was being served a raw piglet, which was completely inappropriate. The whole stay was disappointing: there were 14 of us in tiny, uncomfortable rooms with no towels and almost no furniture, so we had to keep everything in our suitcases. Even the jacuzzi felt impractical, with nowhere to put clothes or towels. The place seems poorly planned and unfinished.

We’ve been to Villa Drecheva twice now, and I loved it both times. The forest view while swimming in the outdoor pool is such a pleasure, and the indoor mineral-water jakuzzi is nice to use in the evening. For a family or a group of friends, booking the whole villa gives you plenty of privacy. The owners are university graduates and know how to run a business. Best wishes, and I can’t wait to return for a third visit.
