Angel and Vanya were so attentive throughout our two weeks here. We were on half board, and Angel cooked everything fresh each evening. The food was excellent. We loved discovering the area on our first trip to Bulgaria and would definitely come back soon. The rooms are basic, but clean and quiet. There are lots of stairs and no lift, so it may not suit everyone. Thanks, Angel and Vanya.

We first came to the flora nine years ago and were happy to return this year. It’s a lovely little hotel, and angel is a wonderful host. The food is great and fairly priced. Things are basic, but that’s part of the charm. I’d take that over a big hotel where you’re only a room number.

It’s a peaceful spot where you can relax, on a quiet side street near the town and beaches, with a good supermarket close by. Around the corner, there’s a shop selling whole roast chickens for under £6.00 if you want an easy lunch. The building is old and isn’t polished or clinically clean, but it’s friendly and calm. The owner does nearly everything himself and is always ready to help with whatever you need.

We only booked bed and breakfast, and after tasting Angel’s cooking and seeing how reasonable the prices were, we wished we’d chosen half board. The hotel was clean, peaceful and had all the basic comforts we needed. It’s in a residential area with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We spent two weeks here after arriving just after midnight. Angel, the owner, welcomed us and carried our suitcases upstairs. We’d come to Bulgaria for the first time to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. The location worked perfectly, with Sunny Beach and the old town of Nessebar both an easy walk away. If walking isn’t an option, there’s a free shuttle bus nearby and a road train for a small fee. We’d happily recommend the hotel and hope to come back later in the season next year.
