Oasis Park Hotel

The hotel sits in a small park, which keeps the weather cool and makes it feel less hot. The rooms and grounds were perfectly clean, and the staff were attentive. The food was tasty and healthy. The beach is wide, cleaned daily, and only a five-minute walk away, even though the hotel is on the second line. You can rent sunbeds and umbrellas there, or walk to a quieter beach with no cafes or rentals, very clean water, and a peaceful atmosphere for people who want to relax alone. The location is good and the garden is okay, but that's about it. For the price and the all-inclusive package I paid for, there was no real all-inclusive. It felt more like full board. The rooms smelled, the AC didn't work properly, and the food was shut. If you're late to a meal, there are no snacks between courses, and sometimes the alcohol, especially wine, runs out.

The beach is just a three-minute walk away, and the hotel is in a wonderful location. It's an old but renovated place with reasonable prices. Staff were great and very friendly. Lunch and dinner were delicious, while breakfast was reasonable, like in most places. There's a beautiful back garden with a pool, and the rooms were clean, some with a garden or sea view.

The only real plus was the location, with the beach a five-minute walk away. But the hotel gate was permanently shut, so getting through meant climbing over it, which didn't feel safe. The park around it has a lot of potential, but it's rusty and badly kept. We knew Oasis Park was a budget hotel, but the stay turned into a nightmare. At the airport, a grumpy older driver picked us up, said nothing in English or Bulgarian, dropped us at the wrong hotel, then drove off. It was about 11:30 in the middle of the night. We called the holiday rep, who sorted it out. When we finally reached Oasis Park Hotel, there was nobody at reception. I went looking and found a waitress or manager, I'm not sure what her role was, who was completely drunk. I politely asked to check in and she shouted at me in Bulgarian. The staff were generally unwelcoming, impolite, and rude. The receptionist never said hello or goodbye. The waiting staff didn't know even basic English words like fork, knife, or plates. Plates and coffee cups were often dirty because there was no dishwasher, and the bartender did the dishes. The food was poor too: breakfast was the same every day, with oily, always-cold scrambled eggs and sausages. Lunch and dinner were usually tasty but always cold. Seagulls kept eating leftovers from tables that staff didn't bother to clear, as they were taking cigarette breaks every five minutes. The pool was filthy, and the surroundings were off-putting. The pool bar was devastated and closed. We had no hot water after 6 pm, the balcony was filthy, and the bathrooms stank, apparently because of a plumbing problem. Apart from the grumpy receptionist, who spoke some basic English, communicating in English was impossible. I've never felt so unwelcome, disrespected, and neglected. I definitely don't recommend this hotel. Trip type: holiday. Room: 1.0. Service: 1.0.
