Capital City Center

The rooms are nice, but the service was awful. We were six people in a three-room apartment, and there were only four Nespresso capsules. When we politely asked for two more, they refused, saying the capsules were complimentary and they couldn't provide extras. We also waited about 20 minutes for hot water because someone had apparently forgotten to switch on the boiler. The back door to the parking area is supposed to open with the room key, but it didn't. At breakfast, it felt like the restaurant lady shouldn't be disturbed. There was no hospitality or warmth from the staff. They all seemed unhappy to work there, and customer service training clearly hasn't been a priority.

The apartment was roomy, with comfortable bedding and nice furniture. The location was good too, about a 20-minute walk from the main shopping street. But the staff weren't very friendly, and having just one access card for an apartment meant for six people caused problems when we had different schedules. The kitchen could also use basics like dish soap, a sponge, and a towel.

The food was great, and the views over Plovdiv were excellent.

Quiet place. Hemingway Restaurant is about 10 minutes away. Good.
