We booked at the last minute for New Year's Eve and the following day. The facilities were decent, and the restaurant was nice. A rear-facing room is preferable, since the view toward the Balkan Mountains is quite impressive. The old city center is around 1.5-2 km away, and I thought it was good value. Have some cash with you: in what's apparently a familiar Bulgarian habit, card payments or online booking can sometimes have a 'malfunction.'

The receptionist was very helpful and pointed me to a small cafe and local bakery in the shop across the road. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the shower faucet didn't work properly. Parking was free. Wi-Fi was so unstable that I had to use 5G on my phone for work. It seemed breakfast was no longer being served, though perhaps there just weren't other guests.

They try their best here. The staff are super friendly, which is the best thing about the place. The rooms are clean, though not very clean, and the food isn't the best. All in all, it's an OK place to stay.

They even offered complimentary wine, and there was a mini fridge in the room. Fresh bottled water was replenished every day. The room matched the description and photos exactly, wow. A fabulous experience.

The staff were so kind and helpful, and having parking right in front was really convenient. The hotel is nice and very clean, though the rooms are on the small side. The one downside is that there’s no restaurant, so you have to go out and look for somewhere to eat.
