Orehovo was beautiful, and staying at Konakat was one of the highlights of our Bulgaria trip. The owners were warm and welcoming, and really went out of their way to make us comfortable. The food was delicious, too. We couldn't have been happier!

We had three unforgettable days at Konakat. The hosts were the real highlight, treating us like friends and family rather than customers, and Poly's meals were simply great. The house is comfortable and very nice, with amazing mountain views. The village is picturesque, with lots of interesting places within walking distance. We were especially impressed by the more than 30 small chapels nearby, all kept in very good condition. This place is absolutely worth recommending!
