We booked just one night, and the strict quiet hours, 10 pm to 8 am, were emphasized when the woman handed us the keys. But that evening, people on the floor below were having a full-on party. We called the host twice; she said she’d speak to them, but nothing changed. We called the police three times, and they only drove past. At 1 am, with shouting and music still going, we got on a bus and went home. Never again. I wish I’d read the reviews before booking. The host’s response calling me delusional and impudent is unbelievable. I have recordings of the noise, which supposedly was only in my head, so I’m not letting this go. Happy holidays!

The room’s decoration was nice, and it was great value for money. The owner was very helpful, and the old city is close enough to walk to.

Our room had plenty of space, a high ceiling, and a large window over the cobblestone street. The building was very clean and well kept, with no visible wear on the furniture. The only issue we found was water escaping from the shower past the bathroom door onto the floor when it was shut, so we had to be careful. The place has a historic feel without looking aged. A lovely wooden spiral staircase runs through all three floors, with light coming down from a skylight above. There’s a shared kitchenette and living room on the third floor, where the hosts make fresh coffee each morning, plus a small terrace overlooking the neighborhood. It’s five minutes from the famous Singing Fountains. The host was friendly and helpful, so ask if anything comes up. I’d recommend it and would like to return if I visit the city again.

There’s only one shared bathroom on the floor, but it was clean. The wifi was slow. I liked the wood paneling throughout, and having AC was a big plus. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and the owner friendly and helpful. They also offer free coffee and tea in the morning. It’s well placed, close to the south bus station.
