Quiet apartment at the end of the street, with local shops and street food nearby.

We had an amazing time there!

The pool was clean, but it didn’t feel safe: one drain had no cover, so a foot could easily get caught, and the grate over the other drain kept coming loose. About half the sun loungers were broken. The rooms were so close together that we could hear everything next door, and later guests banged on our door, argued, and spoke loudly. We were told we’d be on the 3rd floor, but ended up on the 5th. Inside, the room was cramped and nothing like the photos. There was barely anywhere for our shoes or belongings, with just one or two hangers and no shelves. The towels and sheets had stains, there was hair on the floor and bedside tables, and the bathroom smelled bad. No dark curtain meant people from the street or nearby terraces could see in when we came out of the bathroom. There weren’t clothespins in the “space,” and the listed amenities weren’t there either. The bathroom was dirty and in poor shape. The sink leaked, the shower was broken, and the water would go from cold to scalding, or the other way around. We had no bath mat, so we used a small towel, which someone later put in my suitcase. A Wi-Fi password sticker was there, but it didn’t work. The maids entered whenever they wanted without knocking, whether we were in or not. During our 6 days and 5 nights they didn’t change the towels or sheets, clean the room, or even leave a broom and dustpan. Staff were hard to find during the day. When we called asking for a glass, they asked, “Don’t you have yours?” I was left disappointed from the moment we arrived.

We were left on the 5th floor, though they said it was the 3rd, and there’s no elevator. Staff were hard to find unless we called, and even the day before we left nobody came by to ask if we needed anything. When I asked for two glasses of water, they seemed surprised and asked, “Don’t you have any?” They also refused to give us one or two spoons, which seemed absurd for a hotel. The rooms are very close together, and there was nowhere to put our luggage or toiletries. They came in to “clean” while we were there, but our sheets and towels weren’t changed for five days, and the hairs from my hair stayed on the floor the whole time. The bathroom sink leaked too. I wouldn’t stay here again.
