Hotel Central

The location is perfect, the bed was really comfortable, and everything was clean. The staff spoke English and were somewhat friendly. My one complaint is the toilet: the shower drain is in the middle of the room, so the whole floor gets wet when you shower, and there’s a strong sewer smell coming from the toilet.

The location is good, close to the center of ruse, and it’s a nice hotel to stay at while you’re in Ruse. Our room was incredible, though the stairs inside it were a little hard to climb. The second floor of the room was good too, just without a TV. I can’t really comment on the service.

We had the attic family apartment for three adults and a baby, and it was cozy, spacious, and ready for us, including the baby cot. The temperature was comfortable without needing the air conditioning, and we had lots of room to set up a play area during the day. The elevator only goes to the third floor, so there’s one flight of stairs to the top, but that was fine. There are just two apartments on that floor, and it stayed very quiet. There’s no restaurant in the hotel, but the neighboring building has one for dinner. A great coffee shop across the street covers breakfast and lunch, and there’s a supermarket opposite where you can pick up snacks. There’s plenty of public parking nearby if you’re driving. The hotel is lovely and close to Ruse city center. We’ve saved it as a favorite and will come back.

The location is good, and there’s a big flat-screen TV and air conditioning. But the staff, from the front desk to the cleaning ladies, were very rude and impolite and didn’t seem to understand customer service. The bed was very hard, and the thin curtains let morning sunlight shine straight into the room, making a good night’s sleep impossible. The bathroom was tiny, with a shower area too small for the curtain to contain the water, so it splashed everywhere. We could also hear noise from the bars on the pedestrian streets.
