The bed was like sleeping on clouds, easily the most comfortable one I’ve had in a long time. The apartment was spacious, clean, and smelled fresh. Since my train arrived late and I missed check-in time, the owner sent self check-in instructions through Whatsapp, which was really helpful. It’s right by the main street, with a 24/7 store across the road. The only issue I ran into was the WiFi, which didn’t work properly while I was there. Sorry about the poor quality pictures, I cut them out of a video.

Stay away. I booked six days, and the place was shocking when I arrived. The door was damaged and the floor was dirty. There was mould all over the shower head. The bedding wasn’t changed and the apartment wasn’t cleaned during my six days there. The owner also complained that I used more than the single towel left out for me. One towel for six days is absolutely disgusting.

We stopped here for one night before getting back on the road. The location was excellent, with lots of places to eat nearby: pizza, kebabs, hot pastries, and coffee, plus a 24-hour shop for water and drinks. We found a free parking space too. We arrived late, but the host had sent detailed check-in instructions. The host was great, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The beds didn’t squeak.

The owner is very responsive and chatty, and will give you detailed explanations about all kinds of things you didn’t even know you wanted to ask. He’ll also help with the challenge of finding free parking in such a central spot. It’s right in the heart of the city, and a great choice for a quick stay in Ruse. There’s everything you need for a short visit without unnecessary extras, and the price and conditions are hard to beat.
