The owners are very friendly and accommodating. One of them is a ski instructor and can arrange a shuttle to and from the resort. They also served a lovely breakfast, with different options at a very reasonable price. There's a great restaurant within walking distance for lunch or dinner, and plenty more food choices in Samokov. We stayed during ski season. This villa feels like home, and since it's 15 minutes away, I don't see why we'd pay the high prices at Borovets hotels.

The owners are lovely, speak three languages besides Bulgarian, and are easy to communicate with. They can also pick you up and drop you off at the airport. The hotel itself is quiet and just a walk from the restaurants. It feels amazing all year round and is such good value. If it were in England, I'd give it four stars or more. The two-star rating is misleading. There are en suites in all the rooms. They have a sauna, jacuzzi and small gym, and offer a ski package with boots and skis, which was really helpful in ski season. Two members of my family are gluten-free, and they catered for them without us even asking. The breakfast was lovely and very good quality.

The hosts were so generous and helpful, and we've rarely had such lovely hospitality. This charming, cosy guest house is close to skiing in Borovets and feels very friendly. Highly recommend it!

The owners are friendly, and they also teach skiing in winter. There are three double rooms and one apartment, all with their own toilet and bathroom. Upstairs on the top floor are three more double bedrooms that share a toilet and bathroom. It's a good place for a mountain holiday, and I'd recommend it.
