The views are pure winter wonderland, and Ice Angels Hotel is probably in the best spot for skiing. Inside, it's warm and cozy, with clean, well-kept rooms. The food is another plus, especially the pizza and other tasty choices. There are restaurants and local places close by, and the management is friendly. It feels family-friendly, and there's private parking on site. We'd definitely return. Recommended!

We've been nothing but kind, but the staff treated us like crap. The waiters were rude and unwelcoming. They don't have to make us laugh, but they should at least be decent and let us finish ordering. When we asked for drinks only, they made a face and rudely asked, "Oh, so you only want drinks, why not food?"

After skiing, I wanted to stop for a break, but the restaurant service was the worst I've seen. There was no menu on the table, so I asked what pizzas they had and ordered a capricosa. It came with pickles. There were no knives or forks, even after I asked. I had to go inside the hotel to ask for them.

Stay away from this hotel, seriously. The people here are the worst in the area. The guy at the equipment rental shop in particular was the rudest, most violent man I've met. Don't book!

It's a great spot right on the ski slope, and in summer it's surrounded by green beauty. The rooms and hotel are very clean, the food is tasty, and the ribs are top, top. The Bulgarian wines are nice too. Staff are friendly, and the manager is excellent and helps everyone. Prices are very good, normal. Best hotel in Borovets.
