We really liked the large, nicely decorated rooms and all the art throughout the hotel. It's an easy walk to the city centre, and the reception staff we spoke with were polite and helpful. One thing spoiled the impression: after the room was serviced, there were no water bottles or coffee capsules left for our second day. We paid for two nights, and those should have been provided. I would still highly recommend the place overall.

The breakfast was simple but good quality, and the drinks in the fridge were reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and happy to help, and my room was clean. The decor is a bit dated, but I actually like the old Soviet style. The shower needs work because some settings didn't function. I also tried the pool, which was fun, though it's for swimming rather than lounging. Overall, I had a really good stay.

The room was roomy and well furnished, but there weren't any outlets by the beds or toiletries in the bathroom. The bathtub handle came off the wall as soon as I touched it, which felt dangerous. I mentioned it at the front desk, but they didn't seem to understand what was wrong. The hotel is okay and not terribly located, though it's about a 20-minute walk to the main attractions, with few food choices nearby.

We checked in yesterday and the first room hadn't been prepared properly, the sheet and linen weren't changed, and there was hair on the rumpled sheet. They moved us to another room, where the kettle blew a fuse when we turned it on. The place needs better upkeep.

Sculptures fill the empty spaces and striking abstract art covers much of the walls, so this hotel feels unlike any other I've seen. I really enjoyed staying here and would book again. The service, location, rooms, and amenities were all nice, and there's paid parking on site.
