Hotel Atlantic

We enjoyed the peaceful area and the outdoor pool, which was big enough for the hotel and had a section for children. Parking was free. In summer, there's dinner at the barbecue restaurant by the pool, and the food was absolutely delicious, though prices were higher since it's a hotel restaurant. We booked a standard room, but got an upgrade for a personal occasion, a lovely touch. The staff were kind and attentive. Our room was larger than the others on the floor and well maintained, if a little dated. It had a big bed and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, so we had the comfort we needed. Breakfast came with the rate and was served in the stylish, beautiful panorama restaurant on the third floor until 10 a.m. We ate on the terrace with a nice view over Sofia. There were omelettes, English breakfast, pancakes and more, all delicious. I was looking for a hotel on Sofia's outskirts after seeing lower ratings for other places in the same star category, and this one didn't disappoint. We were very pleased with our stay and would recommend it.

I'm leaving Bulgaria in a couple of hours to go back to my boys. The Atlantic Hotel, Sofia is a bit out of the way, but the service from the lobby to the restaurant was the best I've ever seen, absolutely impeccable. Two staff members even helped me pack and weigh my luggage after I did a bit of shopping. They also helped with my Mobility Scooter. I 100% recommend this hotel. I think I left more in tips than the hotel cost, xx.

My parents found the hotel very nice. Everything was clean and the staff were really friendly. We had a double booking through booking.com, and the hotel staff helped us right away and were very kind. My parents will happily stay here again.

The restaurant balcony has a great city view, and there's a small pool like at many places in the surrounding area, unlike downtown. The hotel sits on Sofia's southern hillside. You'll need Google Maps to find it, and a car is needed.
