It's about 30 minutes from Sofia Center. There are several shops and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away.

The location is pretty good, with several supermarkets, a park and restaurants nearby. The post-communist atmosphere wasn't really my taste, though it wasn't bad overall.

I paid by card through booking for an “apartment.” After taking my money, they called to say it was under renovation and that they'd refund me in a week. I spent an hour walking around trying to find the place. The gentleman rents it as airbnb, but it doesn't actually exist! Then came scam calls. Don't be fooled!
