The staff were friendly and cooperative, and breakfast was good, with some local dishes. The hotel is right in the center, so the location is excellent. Both rooms I saw were spacious, but they felt dated. In my first room, the air conditioning started making strange noises in the middle of the night despite being switched off. After I told reception, they moved me to another room at midnight. That one was close to the main road, and the poor sound insulation meant trams made it quite loud whenever they passed. The bathrooms looked modern, but the toilet flushes weren’t very effective, and I had trouble with the one in the second room. The door lock in that room was broken too. Reception promptly sent a technician, but the fix didn’t seem lasting, since the lock never worked perfectly for the rest of my stay. The hotel would benefit from investing in renovations and maintenance to prevent these recurring technical problems.

We arrived around 11pm, and the friendly reception staff helped us find nearby restaurants. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of options. The hotel is right in the city center, close to metro, bus, and tram stops. One tip: you can pay for public transport with a debit or credit card, and the daily fare is capped at €5.

The staff were welcoming, and my room was spacious and quiet. I had a very pleasant stay, helped by the excellent location. They also let me check in about an hour early, which made arriving much easier.

I stayed with my mam from February 14th to February 17th last month. The hotel is lovely, right in the heart of Sofia and close to everything. Our room was clean and modern, the food was fabulous, and the staff were brilliant. We both loved the breakfast and the menu of traditional Bulgarian food. 10/10.
