A lovely spot.

The room itself was nice, and the bathroom had a tub, though I couldn't get it to turn on. The hotel looks nicely equipped, but the room was cold with no heating. The TV seemed about 30 years old and barely holding together: only a few channels worked, half the display was out, and the picture was poor. Since I was there on a business trip and the night was paid for, I wasn't furious, but otherwise I would have been.

The evening was noisy, with banging that carried through. There is no lift, and the steep stairs are awkward with big suitcases. I also had trouble getting the invoice done correctly: the administrator got it wrong three times, then said she was frivolous. When you're issuing a tax document, how can you be so casual about your obligations?

For a fairly low price, it's a decent place to stay, and the parking is useful if you're driving. It's on a busy road and quite a way from central Sofia. Without a car, the walk from the last tram stop in Knyazhevo is pretty far.
